Banking a future development site, LINC Housing acquired a collection one-story, former medical office buildings to be temporarily used for their corporate offices. While three of the structures were converted into office space for each of the departments, the fourth - located at the knuckle of the building was transformed into the central hub, hosting the main conference room, staff cafe, IT, print shop, and restrooms. Additional improvements included ADA access upgrades, and modest aesthetic to the building and landscape.
City Fabrick collaborated with LINC and Walton Construction to assess the repurpose the buildings with minimum interventions where possible - utilizing existing building and material elements, removing construction more than adding, while focusing more significant changes where necessary. This was done to limit costs for a relatively short occupancy, while meeting and aggressive construction schedule. City Fabrick provided interior, landscape and building design services for the project.
