City Fabrick worked with a local developer to convert a vacant industrial building on the edge of Long Beach’s East Village Arts District into the home for local small businesses. The historic architecture of the building was retained while being updated and articulated to serve one or multiple tenants. The building was substantially upgraded for greater accessibility while service functions were concealed within the architecture of the secondary elevation. The building now hosts 4th & Olive, an Alsatian restaurant that is dedicated to serving the Veterans community by hiring and training decommissioned personnel from the armed services.
